We are happy to share with you the logo Spanish Air Force have prepared for the Academy’s 75th Anniversary Featuring Patrulla Aguila Aerobatic Team. The festivities programme is still being developed, hopefully adding some more aerobatic teams to this important event, which we are very proud to sponsor.
As you may know by now, the event will take place on the 9th and 10th of June, at the same Air Force Academy in San Javier, Murcia. Safety 4 Aircraft is already working on the preparation of the visit, and how we will participate in the event, and, most of all, more than ready to enjoy the show!
Just a quick note to explain that Patrulla Aguila means Eagle Patrol, was formed in 1985 and flies 7 CASA 101s Aviojets. They are very well known for the red and yellow smoke, matching Spanish flag and also for their formation landings.
Patrulla Aguila travel quite often to participate in air shows and proudly represent Spanish Air Force everywhere they go. It must be noted that the aircraft flown by this Aerobatic Team were built in Spain by CASA, one of the original members of the Airbus Consortium with France, Germany and the United Kingdom in 1972, so also represent, in a way, the Spanish Aviation Industry.
We will prepare one post soon dedicated exclusively to Patrulla Aguila’s history and milestones.
Save the date!
